Verizon Access New Jersey is happy to introduce Elluminate Live! to our members, the NEXT STEP in multipoint interactive webconferencing. Elluminate Live! provides a rich, education-oriented virtual environment that features high-quality audio, multi-point video, polling, quizzes, whiteboard, application sharing, file sharing, rich media plus recording that supports multiple platforms and low-bandwidth connectivity over the Internet.

Verizon Access New Jersey's hosted Elluminate Live! offers excellent documentation, training, and support for all of our members. Users simply need to install a Java client on their computer to participate. An inexpensive webcam and PC headset is highly recommended.

Please apply for a Moderator account if you are a teacher, tech coordinator or group leader. Moderators are responsible for scheduling, inviting & preparing participants, and running the online sessions. Training is required before Moderator credentials can be given out. Note: Marratech, which was acquired by Google in April 2007, has discontinued support for that platform as of June 2009. Verizon Access New Jersey still owns a perpetual license and will continue to run Marratech on our servers as long as our members find it useful, although at minimal support. We encourage ALL our members to move to Elluminate Live! as it is more feature-rich and provides the next generation of webconferencing. Verizon Access New Jersey's VidyoConferencing™ solution brings IP Multi-point Video Conferencing to desktops or laptops from any broadband connection. All the participants need is a computer, webcam and a headset! Now available to ANJ members.

Our VidyoConferencing™ solution provides high quality experiences for all participants, ranging from Mac and Windows desktops to legacy H.323 endpoints like Polycom, Tandberg or other MCU-based video conferencing room systems (supports both H.264 and H.263 video conferencing, as well as G.711, G.722, SIP and H.323 signaling).

The H.264 standard for video compression — Scalable Video Coding (SVC) and specialized intelligent video routing make this possible. All the participant needs to do is download a small application from our video server. With any Intel-based Mac or Windows PC, webcam and headset they can participate in high quality multi-point video conferences - even with legacy H.323 endpoints OR MCUs. Contact us for more info.
